Appalachian State University Athletic Training Services collaborate with physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions. Our goal is to provide exceptional medical care to the student-athlete. Injury and illness prevention starts with the pre-participation physical exam. When injuries and illness occur, it is the athletic training’s staff responsibility to evaluate, provide proper care and refer if needed.
