BOONE, N.C. — A limited number of spots remain for Appalachian State University's annual Football 101 event on Wednesday, July 30 from 6-9 p.m. at the Appalachian Athletics Center.

The event is open to all females age 21 and older and is a great way to kick off the 2014 Mountaineer football season! App State head coach Scott Satterfield and his staff will take you inside the huddle as they offer instruction on the rules, positions and strategies of the game.

In addition to Football 101, the event will also feature a more advanced Football 201 for those who have attended the event in the past. As a special service, Appalachian Athletics and the Junior Mountaineer Kids Club will be offering FREE babysitting for children ages 5-13 during the event.

For just $30, Football 101/201 includes dinner, cocktails, gift bags and door prizes, the opportunity to purchase the newest App State merchandise from the University Bookstore and free babysitting provided by the Junior Mountaineer Kids Club. Please remember that you must be 21 or older to register for this event.
