BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State University women's tennis returns to the courts after a 10-day break when it plays host to Gardner-Webb at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Yonahlossee Racquet Club.

The Mountaineers (1-2) picked up their first win of the season in their last outing with a thrilling 4-3 win over previously unbeaten UNC Asheville while the Runnin' Bulldogs (4-1) swept a doubleheader against North Greenville and Wingate in their last outing.

Appalachian rebounded after dropping the doubles point to UNC Asheville by picking up wins at four singles flights, including a win by Brianna Armellino at No. 3 singles in a highly-competitive 2-6, 6-2, 10-6 contest.

Saturday's contest is one of two remaining that Appalachian is slated to play indoors at Yonahlossee this season - directions to the site can be found HERE. Live results will be available on appstatesports.com and can be accessed HERE or by clicking the link above.
