Three of the 10 former Appalachian State University football standouts currently in the National Football League were in action in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs this weekend.

San Francisco 49ers third-year offensive lineman Daniel Kilgore saw action on the offensive line and on special teams in the fifth-seeded 49ers' 23-10 win at No. 2-seeded Carolina. The win lifted Kilgore and the 49ers to their third-straight NFC Championship game on Sunday at top-seeded and archrival Seattle. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. ET at CenturyLink Field in Seattle. The game will be televised live on FOX.

Indianapolis Colts sixth-year defensive back Corey Lynch made one tackle in the third-seeded Colts' 43-22 loss at No. 2-seeded New England.

New Orleans Saints second-year running back Travaris Cadet was targeted once on a screen pass but did not record any statistics in the Saints' 23-15 loss at Seattle.
