BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University men's cross country is set to travel to Raleigh, N.C. this weekend for the Three Stripe Invitational on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.

The men are currently ranked 12th in the Southeast region after finishing in second-place at the Southern Conference Championships last weekend.

Kyle McFoy finished first for the Mountaineers and sixth overall at conference, crossing the finish-line with a time of 25:08.85 and making the All-SoCon First-Team. Josh Cox found a second-place finish for the Apps, finishing with a time of 25:31.76.

The Mountaineers will also look to James Howard-Smith and Will Raby this weekend as both runners got third and fourth-place finishes for Appalachian at the conference championships.

The men will run a 5,000m race at the WakeMed Cross Country Course, racing along side NC State, Duke, UNC, Elon and UNCG.

Appalachian will return to action on Nov. 15 for the NCAA Division I Southeast Regional in Charlottesville, Va.
