The Mountaineers will host the Mountaineer Open on Friday evening at 5 p.m. before heading to Bethlehem, Pa. for the Paul Short Run on Saturday morning at 10 a.m.

The Mountaineer Open will host six teams at the Don Kennedy Trails including Virginia Tech, College of Charleston, Lenoir-Rhyne, Milligan College, King University and Montreat.

The Paul Short Run will be an important race for the Mountaineers as they will be running against 47 teams, many who are top ranked. Some of the biggest competitors will include Georgetown, Penn State, Cornell, Villanova and West Virginia.

The Apps will look to junior Justine Stocks to lead the team as she finished first in the Winthrop Open two weekends ago, setting a new personal record. The Mountaineers finished first in the meet.
