SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Appalachian State University women’s golf finished up play in the Terrier Interocollegiate on Tuesday which was hosted by Wofford.

The Mountaineers carded a 313 in the second round after firing a 310 in the first round on Monday for a total of 623. App State also had three golfers finish in the top 20 individually.

Haley Zagoria finished tied for seventh overall after shooting a 73 in the second round. Zagoria’s tournament total was 151. Finishing right behind Zagoria at 14th overall individually was Lily Yatawara who tallied a 79 in round two for a total of 154. Hannah Craver finished tied for 17th after shooting a second round total of 77 for a two day total of 157. Emily Stinson finished with an 84 in the second round and 161overall to place in a tie for 27th. Madalyn Davis finished tied for 37th with a two day total of 169 after firing an 85 on Tuesday.

Wen Jia Cao competed as an individual for the Mountaineers and finished 42nd with a total score of 196 after shooting a 97 on Tuesday.

The Mountaineers will return to action when they travel to Waynesville, N.C. for a tournament hosted by Western Carolina. It will span two days – starting next Monday the 16th and continuing onto Tuesday.
