BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State University baseball will hold its annual walk-on tryout on Monday, Sept. 9 at 2:30 p.m. at Beaver Field at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium.

Those wishing to participate in the tryout must provide their own equipment (gloves, bats, etc.) and wear cleats and either baseball pants or sweatpants.

Participants MUST email athletic trainer Lindsey Brinza (brinzaln@appstate.edu) to receive necessary paperwork that MUST be filled out IN ADVANCE of the tryout. A physical exam, proof of medical insurance and a sickle-cell test are required to participate in the tryout.
