Seven former Appalachian State University football student-athletes are currently in the National Football League and five are members of their teams' active 53-man rosters. Below is a look at how the former Mountaineers fared in Week 15 of NFL action:

WR Brian Quick (St. Louis Rams) scored his second-career touchdown he hauled in a four-year scoring pass from Rams' quarterback Sam Bradford during Sunday's 36-22 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Quick went up high to make the acrobatic touchdown grab over Minnesota Viking defender Josh Robinson and finished the day with two receptions for 12 yards receiving.

DB Corey Lynch (San Diego Chargers) and WR Armanti Edwards (Carolina Panthers) squared off in San Diego, as Edwards' Panthers got the best of the Lynch's Chargers, 31-17. Lynch earned his third-straight start at strong safety and finished with six tackles and one pass defended. Edwards saw the field as a slot receiver but was did not record a catch.

RB Travaris Cadet (New Orleans Saints) caught a three-yard pass in the second quarter and had a 30-yard kickoff return in the Saints' 41-0 rout over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

OL Dan Kilgore (San Francisco 49ers) saw action as a substitute in San Francisco's 41-34 win over the New England Patriots.

DE Jason Hunter (Denver Broncos) and LB D.J. Smith (Green Bay Packers) remain on their respective teams' injured reserve lists after suffering season-ending injuries.
