Seven former Appalachian State University football student-athletes are currently in the National Football League and five are members of their teams' active 53-man rosters. Below is a look at how the former Mountaineers fared in Week 12 of NFL action:

RB Travaris Cadet (New Orleans Saints) and OL Dan Kilgore (San Francisco 49ers) met on Sunday, with Kilgore's 49ers defeating Cadet's Saints, 31-21, in New Orleans. Cadet recorded five kickoff returns for 148 yards with a 36-yard long and Kilgore saw the field as a substitute at guard.

DB Corey Lynch (San Diego Chargers) turned in his best performance of the season, filling in after an injury to San Diego's starting strong safety, Atari Bigby. Lynch posted 10 combined tackles, including one for a loss, in the Chargers' 16-13 overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

WR Armanti Edwards (Carolina Panthers) had five kickoff returns for 114 yards with a long of 35 yards in Carolina's 30-22 triumph over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night.

WR Brian Quick (St. Louis Rams) was targeted once but was unable to record a catch in St. Louis' 31-17 road victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

DE Jason Hunter (Denver Broncos) and LB D.J. Smith (Green Bay Packers) remain on their respective teams' injured reserve lists after suffering season-ending injuries.
