Seven former Appalachian State University football student-athletes are currently in the National Football League and six are members of their teams' active 53-man rosters. Below is a look at how the former Mountaineers fared in Week 10 of NFL action:
WR Brian Quick earned the start and his first career touchdown catch, hauling in a 36-yard catch from Sam Bradford to give St. Louis a 7-0 lead. It was Quick's only catch of the day in a rare 24-24 tie with the San Francisco 49ers.
OL Dan Kilgore saw time at guard for the 49ers, coming off the bench.
WR Armanti Edwards was targeted three times by Cam Newton, but came away with just one catch for nine yards. Edwards also recorded two kickoff returns for a total of 34 yards.
DB Corey Lynch mainly saw time on special teams, assisting for one tackle and combining for another in San Diego's 34-24 loss at Tampa Bay.
RB Tarvaris Cadet was targeted by QB Drew Brees three times, making two catches for 16 yards. Cadet recorded a punt return for two yards and two kickoff returns for 45 yards.
DB DeAndre Presley is now listed on Miami's practice squad after being active for the last three weeks.
DE Jason Hunter (Denver Broncos) and LB D.J. Smith (Green Bay Packers) remain on their respective teams' injured reserve lists after suffering season-ending injuries.
