Appalachian's two-game mid-week series versus Eastern Kentucky was rained out. First-place ASU returns to action this weekend when it hosts a three-game SoCon series versus Furman.

Rain Washes Out ASU-EKU Series

BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State University baseball's two-game mid-week series versus Eastern Kentucky has been cancelled due to rain.

Appalachian (25-9, 10-5 SoCon) is working to replace the four games that have been rained out in the last month. Any makeup games will be announced if/when details are finalized.

The first-place Mountaineers return to action on Friday when they open a three-game Southern Conference series versus Furman (18-20, 7-11 SoCon). Game times for the three-game set are slated for 6 p.m. Friday, 3 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday at ASU's Beaver Field at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium.
