APP STATE'S FIRST FBS CLASS INCLUDES 27 SIGNEES
BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State University football's inaugural NCAA Division I FBS recruiting class is officially comprised of 27 student-athletes following Wednesday's National Signing Day. The class of 27 includes five student-athletes that are already enrolled at Appalachian State and 22 that signed National Letters of Intent to attend Appalachian in the fall on Wednesday.
“National Signing Day is always an exciting day but it's even moreso today because these 27 young men make up the very first FBS class in Appalachian State history,” head coach Scott Satterfield said. “I think that we have a terrific class that will help us compete for Sun Belt championships on the field and represent Appalachian with class off the field. A lot of thanks and credit goes to our assistant coaches who put so much time and effort into pulling this group together. I can't wait to get the whole group here and to start working with them on the field in August.”
