2014: Saw action in all 12 games ... was one of Appalachian State’s top special-teams performers ... recorded seven of his career-high eight tackles on kickoff (four) and punt (three) coverage ... seven special-teams tackles ranked second on the team (Alex Gray - eight) ... tallied a career-high three tackles (all solo) in home opener against Campbell ... had one stop apiece against Southern Miss, Georgia Southern, UL Monroe, Arkansas State and UL Lafayette ... recovered a fumble against Liberty for first-career takeaway.

2013: Saw action in 11 games ... made three tackles (all solo) ... made first start of his career at cornerback against Furman and responded with two tackles and a fumble recovery ... only other tackle came at Georgia.

2012: Saw action in all 12 games as a true freshman, primarily on special teams … amassed seven tackles on the season … three of his seven tackles came on kickoff coverage, which was good for second on the squad, behind only team leader Henry Barnes (four) … had two stops apiece in the season opener at East Carolina and home win over Coastal Carolina … also broke up a pass in the opener at ECU.

High School: Rated a two-star prospect by Rivals.com … named PAC 6 Conference Defensive Back of the Year and first-team all-conference as a defensive back and return specialist as a senior … received first-team all-area recognition from the Durham Herald-Sun … also received all-conference accolades after intercepting five passes as a junior in 2010 … participated in 2011 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas … helped lead Hillside to N.C. 4-A state championship as a junior in 2010 and 11-2 record and third-round playoff appearance as a senior in 2011 …  finished with 57 tackles, two interceptions and 18 pass breakups as a senior… also a threat in the return game racking up 756 return yards and two touchdowns … coached by Antonio King … was also a track standout as a youngster, running with Durham Striders Track Club ... won national Youth Outdoor championship in the 100-meter dash in 2003 … placed second in the 200-meter dash at the 2004 Youth Outdoor Championships and Junior Olympics.
