BOONE, N.C. —Appalachian State made a late charge behind two eagles from Alex Burris (Greensboro, N.C.) and a strong stretch from Patrick Moriarty (Rockville, Md.), but Radford was able to hold off the Mountaineers to win the 11-team Wofford Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at the Country Club of Spartanburg.

He birdied three of his final six holes, including no. 18, to help hold off App. He sparked Radford to a 277 (-11) in the final round as the Highlanders held off App State by three strokes. George Mason (-7) was third.

He opened the event with a scorching 66 (-6) with an eagle for the low round of the tournament and fired a 74 (+2) in the final round.
