BOONE, N.C. – Due to field conditions caused by weekend snow and rain on Monday and Tuesday, Appalachian State University softball's midweek doubleheader with Presbyterian College at Clinton, S.C. will now be moved to Thursday, March 16 and the first pitch is set to go off at 2 p.m. The twin bill was originally pushed back from Tuesday, March 14 to Wednesday, March 15 due to weather concerns and will now be played 24 hours later.
Appalachian will open up conference play at San Marcos, Texas March 18-19 to take on Texas State in App State's first three-game series of the season, and the Mountaineers will return home on March 22 to play a duo of ballgames against UNC-Greensboro at 4 p.m.
