SETTING THE SCENE
• Appalachian State will look to rebound tonight against Louisiana after dropping its first contest of the weekend on Saturday to ULM.
• The Mountaineers are 0-4 all-time against the Ragin' Cajuns. All four matchups have occurred since the 2014-15 campaign when App State joined the Sun Belt.
• Tonight marks the first and only time both teams meet during the regular season. The Apps fell to the Cajuns in their last meeting on Feb. 4, 2016 by a score of 87-76.
• Last time out, Ronshad Shabazz tallied a team-high 20 points for his 13th 20-point game of his career.
• Shabazz is now just 185 points away from becoming the 32nd player in program history to score 1,000 career points.
• For the 11th time this season, Isaac Johnson led the Mountaineers in rebounding with a team-high 10 against ULM.
• Johnson is averaging a team-best 6.7 rebounds per game and can become the first freshman to do so since Mel Hubbard in 1975-76 (7.7 per game).
• Johnson is also one of two freshmen in the entire country to lead his team in rebounds and steals.
• Patrick Good is third in the Sun Belt Conference in 3-point percentage (.430), and could finish with the highest percentage to lead a Mountaineer squad with at least 100 attempts since current Murray State head coach Matt McMahon shot 45.5 percent in 1998-99.
• According to Ken Pomeroy, the Mountaineers are the 15th-youngest team in the country (336/351).
SCOUTING THE RAGIN' CAJUNS
• Louisiana enters tonight's contest with a 17-11 overall record and a 7-8 mark in league play.

• The Cajuns have four players who average double-figures and are led by Frank Bartley (15.7 ppg).
• Bryce Washington leads the Cajuns and the Sun Belt with 11.3 rebounds per game. Of his 316 total rebounds, 112 have come on the offensive glass.
• As a team, Louisiana posts a +5.8 scoring maring, +6.3 rebound margin and a +1.8 turnover margin.
