Appalachian State will look to split its Alabama road trip on Monday when it faces off against Troy at 8 p.m. ET from inside Trojan Arena.

SETTING THE SCENE
• Appalachian State will wrap up its two-game road trip in the state of Alabama when it plays at Troy on Monday.
• The Mountaineers are a perfect 6-0 all-time against the Trojans, including 4-0 since joining the Sun Belt Conference.
• App State earned two four-point victories over Troy, topping the Trojans on the road, 75-71, and winning at home, 78-74.
• Last time out, Craig Hinton earned his fifth-straight start and finished with a career-high 13 points.
• Ronshad Shabazz tied for the team lead in points (13), notching his 23rd double-digit scoring game of the season and 41st of his career.
• For the 10th time this season and third game in a row, Isaac Johnson led the Mountaineers in rebounding.
• As a team, the Mountaineers have hit the ninth-most 3-pointers in a season (217). The record for App State is 279.
• According to Ken Pomeroy, the Mountaineers are ranked the 17th youngest team in the country (334/351).
• For the 10th time this season, isaac Johnson led the Mountaineers in rebounding with eight at South Alabama on Saturday.
• He is averaging 6.6 rebounds per game to lead the team and has posted at least nine rebounds in six-of-his-last-nine contests.
• The last time a freshman led the Mountaineers in rebounding was 41 seasons ago when Mel Hubbard led the Black and Gold (7.7 rpg) during the 1975-76 season.
• Johnson is one of only two freshmen in the country to lead their team in rebounding and steals (Keith Braxton of St. Francis (Pa.).
• Craig Hinton has taken off since a Jan. 9 contest against Arkansas State.
• Beginning with the Mountaineers' win over Arkansas State on Jan. 9, Hinton has averaged 5.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.
• Also in the stretch, Hinton is shooting 45.2 percent from the field (19-for-42) and 44.4 percent from 3 (12-for-27).
• Of his 49 total rebounds, 11 have come on the offensive glass. He has posted nine assists to just seven turnovers and added five blocks and four steals in 18.7 minutes per game.
SCOUTING THE TROJANS
• The Trojans enter the contest with a 15-12 overall record, including a 7-6 mark within the Sun Belt.
• They are currently on a three-game win streak with wins at Louisiana, ULM and home to Coastal Carolina on Saturday.
