BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University women's tennis (1-5) makes the trek to Radford (0-2) for a 2 p.m. match at the Radford Tennis Complex in Virginia.
The Black and Gold are coming off a pair of 7-0 setbacks to East Carolina and Old Dominion, respectively.
Heidi Swope and Melissa Machado both have two wins in singles play to lead the Apps. Rebecca Morse and Megan Mullen also have wins in singles action.
In doubles play, Mullen and Gabrielle Wreder are 3-3 as the No. 1 tandem while Swope and McKayla Zupan are 3-3 as well. Machado/Morse have the Apps other win.
Radford is 0-2 to star the spring slate with losses to Elon and James Madison by a score 7-0 in both matches.
Appalachian's next match will come against USC Upstate next Thursday at 2 p.m. in Spartanburg, S.C.
