BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State University women's golf has signed three student-athletes for the 2017-18 season, head coach Heather Brown announced on Tuesday.
Sarah Hardin, Morgan Adamchik and Abby Bolt will all join the Mountaineer golfers next season.
“Losing three seniors, there will be some holes to fill in our roster but these young ladies are in great hands with the strong leadership of the returning players,” Brown said. “Individually and as a whole, these signees bring great characteristics to the table. I am looking forward to watching them flourish.”

West Jefferson, N.C. • Ashe County
Sarah Hardin will join the Mountaineers after attending Ashe County High School where she lettered four years in golf and was named all-conference each year. Hardin was named the Mountain Conference Player of the year three-straight years to close out her high school career. She was also a four-time NCHSAA State Championship qualifier, finishing in the top seven her junior and senior year. She plans on working toward attending medical school after graduation.
Morgan “Mogie” Adamchik

Raleigh, N.C. • Leesville Road
Mogie Adamchik attended Leesville Road High School, lettering all four years in golf. She was named all-conference each year and was named all-region her sophomore, junior and senior years. She was named all-state her senior year and closed out her high school career being named team MVP all four years and team captain twice.

Abby Bolt attended Woodstock High School, lettering one year in golf. She was named all-county and team MVP all four years during her career, finishing with a season stroke average of 36 per nine holes.
