Mountaineers in 11th Place After Two Rounds

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. — Appalachian State University women's golf completed the second round of the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate on Sunday. The Mountaineers carded a 312 in round two after a 311 in round one for a total of 623 and are tied for 11th place of 15 teams with one round of play left. 

Elon is in first place with a tournament total of 590. Western Michigan sits in second place at 596 Western Kentucky is in third with a 597.

Emily Stinson shot a 74 in round one followed by a 76 in round two. Stinson sits in a tie for 26th place with a total of 152.  

Joliana Elias and Savanna Wood are tied for 38th with totals of 156. Elias shot 76 in round two after an 80 in round one. Wood carded a back-to-back rounds of 78.

Madalyn Davis posted a 79 on day one followed by an 80 in round two. Davis is in a tie for 52nd place. Hannah Craver shot an 85 on Monday and then an 82 on Tuesday. Craver is tied for 71st.

The Mountaineers will begin round three of the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate tomorrow starting with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.
