BOONE, N.C. — Longtime Appalachian State University athletics staff member Teresa Eggers has been promoted to assistant athletics director for ticket operations, associate athletics director Kindsay Reeder announced on Tuesday.

“We are excited to officially appoint and welcome Teresa into the role of assistant A.D. for ticket operations,” Reeder said. “Her years of experience, attention to detail and excellent customer service made her the top candidate for this position. We greatly appreciate her years of service thus far and are excited to have her lead this area as Appalachian State athletics continues to see tremendous growth and welcome fans to all of our athletic venues.”

Eggers has been a part of the Appalachian State athletics staff for 15 years, joining the department as assistant athletics ticket manager in 2001. She was promoted to associate athletics ticket manager in 2009 and has served as interim ticket manager since September.

“It's an exciting time for Appalachian State Athletics as we continue to grow our fan base and athletic programs,” Eggers said. “I'm honored to have the opportunity to direct ticket operations as we continue to provide quality fan service and build upon our Appalachian tradition.”

A national search is underway to fill the position on Appalachian State's athletics ticket staff that was held by Eggers prior to her promotion.
