BOONE, N.C. – As part of two home basketball doubleheaders this week for the Appalachian State University men's and women's basketball programs, there are many great promotions on tap for fans and students.

HIGH COUNTRY THURSDAY
• $10 group ticket rate ticket for all those that live in the High Country – just show your ID at the game!
RESIDENCE HALL ROLL CALL
• Opportunity for the first 50 students participating in Residence Hall Roll Call to make a tunnel for the team
• FREE prizes including a post-game shoot around or picture with the team for the dorm with the highest percent attendance
• FREE glowsticks for the first 250 students in attendance
NATIONAL GIRLS AND WOMEN IN SPORTS DAY
• Join us to celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day with a pre-game autograph session by female student athletes from your favorite Mountaineers teams. The autograph session will include your women's basketball team, volleyball, field hockey, cross country, tennis, track & field, and more!

AUTISM SPEAKS
• The Mountaineer coaching staff will wear blue puzzle piece lapel pins, the official logo of Autism Speaks, to help raise awareness of autism spectrum disorders
• Learn more about autism and Autism Speaks with informational tables by the Appalachian State Chapter of Autism Speaks U, ABLE Rec, KAMPN, and Parent to Parent
SPECIAL & DIVERSE ABILITIES DAY
• $10 group ticket for all those with special & diverse abilities and volunteers with special & diverse ability organizations
• Halftime scrimmage by the Special Olympics
• Fans are invited to donate to Autism Speaks online
FREE balloon artist, face tattoos, and pre-game activities for kids.
